Scope of services
Mold Inspection Palm Desert provides mold inspection, mold testing, sampling coordination, moisture and thermal assessment, and consultation services. We do not perform remediation, construction repairs, HVAC repairs or duct cleaning. The scope of any individual engagement is the scope agreed before the visit.
Limitations
- Inspections cover accessible areas only. Conditions inside wall cavities, beneath finishes or in areas that cannot be safely reached are outside the scope unless access is separately arranged.
- Findings describe conditions observed at the time of the visit. Conditions can change after the visit.
- No inspection, test or clearance result establishes that a property is mold-free or universally safe.
- We do not provide medical advice or opinions on individual health effects, and we do not treat mold color as evidence of species or toxicity.
- Laboratory analysis is performed by an independent laboratory; turnaround times are set by that laboratory.
Access and authorization
The client is responsible for ensuring that whoever books the work is authorized to permit access, that areas of concern are reachable, and that the site is safe to enter. Where an area is blocked, unsafe or off-limits, it is recorded as a limitation rather than inspected.
Appointments and availability
Appointments are scheduled subject to availability. Same-day appointments are subject to availability. Please contact us as early as possible to discuss scheduling.
Use of reports
Reports are prepared for the client who commissioned the work and relate to the property and scope described in them. They should be read in full, including the stated limitations.
